Carl D. Ehrlich, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Carl Ehrlich established Central Builders in 1989 as direct response to the need to fill niche market areas in the construction industry. He successfully founded and built the company with quality business ethics and fair pricing, operating within the philosophy “a company is only as good at its team.” As such, Carl has gathered a phenomenally talented and loyal group of construction experts that cover a broad range of field specialties.

Mark Ehrlich, PRESIDENT

Mark has been a key member of the Central Builders team for more than a decade and has been directly involved in every facet of a construction project. His understanding of the coordination it takes to complete a project on-time results in great relationships with suppliers, sub-contractors, architects, engineers and owners’ reps. He constructs weekly reports for budgets, status, and deadlines, ensuring that the on-site team is working cohesively and towards a common goal.

Matt Ehrlich, VP Of Administration

Matt joined Central Builders in 2015 and quickly used his skills of problem-solving, leadership, and employee development from his time in the U.S. Marines to help manage CBI and its recent growth. Matt oversees all administrative responsibilities for Central Builders out of its headquarters in San Antonio and has been integral to the development in technology, efficiency, and policies to keep up with the company’s growth.

Dora Ehrlich, Special Projects Coordinator

Dora has 17 years of experience as an integral member of Central Builder’s support team. She continually completes complex tasks in a timely manner and provides the experience and ‘know how’ to ensure the tasks are completed accurately. Dora oversees corporate management and company financials to create the perfect environment for success. Dora continually exceeds client and company expectations.

Jordan Lightning, Project Management Executive

Jordan has been a part of the Central Builders team since 2014 and earned degrees in Finance and Accounting from Texas State University. While both attending school and interning full-time at CBI, Jordan stood out as an emerging leader and early on, demonstrated expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and project management. He then went on to earn his Masters in Science at Texas A&M University and has been a vital leader to our project management team

Stan Wilson, Project Manager

Stan contributes 30 years of seasoned engineering and project management experience to projects in multiple locations ranging in cost from $500K to $3M. He is currently responsible for managing all aspects of a construction project including hiring and supervising sub-contractors, ensuring quality workmanship, adhering to the budget and maintaining an in-depth reporting and tracking system for man hours, materials and scheduling.

NATHANIEL HERNANDEZ, Project Manager

Nathaniel has a decade of experience at Central Builders, he has risen from an on-site foreman to a respected Project Manager, leveraging his Bachelor's in Finance from Texas State University. His proven track record includes successfully managing numerous projects from inception to completion, while his customer-centric approach ensures satisfaction at every stage. Nathaniel's unique blend of financial acumen and construction expertise allows him to optimize his outstanding project management abilities, embodying the commitment to excellence that defines Central Builders.

Justin Jones, Project Manager

Justin is a seasoned Project Manager with over 7 years of experience in Commercial Construction, 5 of those years focused on Construction Management. Armed with a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas State University, Justin has consistently demonstrated exceptional project management skills, leading to significant cost savings and improved efficiency. His innovative approaches and problem-solving prowess have earned him a highly coveted recognition at CBI, the "Claude Lorey Sr Leadership Award" in 2023.

Aaron wong, Project Manager

Aaron is a highly accomplished project manager with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Trinity University, Aaron brings a solid educational foundation to his role. His 5 years of experience in the commercial construction sector, coupled with an impressive 20 years of leadership experience, have honed his skills in critical areas such as team leadership, project progress monitoring, deadline setting, and issue resolution. Aaron's proficiency in financial management and project performance evaluation ensures that projects under his guidance not only meet but often exceed expectations.

Austin Lynham, Project Manager

Austin is a driving force project manager, with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Texas State University and an impressive 9 years of industry experience, Austin brings a unique blend of technical knowledge and hands-on expertise to every endeavor. Rising through the ranks from field work to project management, Austin has spent the last 6 years honing his skills in construction management. His journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication and ability to excel in challenging environments.

Alan Norwood, Lead Estimator

Alan is a expert commercial construction estimator, with 17+ years in commercial construction, Alan Norwood excels in cost estimation and budget management. A UTSA graduate with a Business Administration degree, he has spearheaded innovative estimation techniques, leading to significant cost savings on major projects. His expertise in blueprint analysis and cutting-edge software utilization has revolutionized bidding processes. Alan's commitment to quality, safety, and client relationships makes him an invaluable asset in delivering successful, cost-effective projects.

COURTNEY FRAY, Director of finance

Courtney brings 15+ years accounting and finance experience to the Central Builders team. She holds a Master of Accounting degree from Georgia State University; Atlanta, GA. Past experience includes financial statement audit, financial reporting to SEC, and financial planning & analysis. Courtney oversees the accounting functions within Central Builders. With Central Builders continued growth, she provides her expertise in reporting accurate figures for business best practices and decisions to be implemented.
